Gwentec were asked to create a system to automatically fill vessels with RO water to 400L without operator supervision during specifed times

The system comprised on 8 'Filling Stations' that previously existed but the operation was a manual process

Gwentec adapted the 8 'Filling Stations' by adding pneumatic operated valves, ultrasonic level measurement mounted to

a custom designed arm, vessel detection and local indication.

Each filling station was then connected to a central control panel mounted in an office area that contained a HMI so that

Tank levels and status can be monitored and alarms can be viewed and acknowledged

The system was later adapted to allow operator control over a network for remote access
